Collection Research

My idea is to create sample swatches of textiles that use stitching methods and materials to portray traditional or popular costumes, both folk and fashion, from different cultures of the world and different eras through time.

This is a sampling of the research I've gathered.  For more, click the link on the left to view my Pinterest.  These are from my Costume board.

  1. Pride Kilt is made of 100% Cotton with different color pleats. The pleats of this kilts make it very eye catcher in public and events. Two large cargo pockets with straps on each of the kilts. It features snap closure with black leather straps.
